Taylor Myers That voice! Stole my heart. An ace album to sit back, relax, and sip on some tea. Favorite track: At The Sunset.

Caroline 03:50
Let's sail tonight in my seventh sea and see how far our hands can reach by pulling clouds out of the sky. We'll swim among the fishing swells, pick fights with all the white sea gulls. Our skin will turn a golden brown. Oh sweet Caroline, my love. Please take my hand and run away with me. Let's search beneath our humble deck for signs of past shipwrecks, now aged with sleep they're beautiful. We'll signal for a rescue team. Before they come, we'll fall asleep. We'll dream a timeless memory. Oh sweet Caroline, my love. Please take my hand and run away with me. When all the clouds fill with rain we'll get away in our aeroplane. I'll lean in close and whisper your name... Oh sweet Caroline, my love, please take my hand and run away with me. Oh sweet Caroline, take my hand and run away with me. Lets sail tonight in my seventh sea and see how far our hands can reach by putting stars into the night.

Stables filled with mares Casting weary stares Searching for your eyes As they’re led outside The world will fall asleep And I will meet and greet Your former loves With a common peace An old, broken bicycle A cold, midnight rainfall The sun will ask the wind to stay But you won’t care either way The world will fall asleep And I will meet and greet Your former loves With a common peace But a carriage won’t move without its wheels And the strongest of men still wear shields We fight to fit in your living rooms But what if I didn’t care? But a carriage won’t move without its wheels And the strongest of men still wear shields We fight to fit in your living rooms But what if I didn’t care? We fight to fit in your living rooms But what if I didn’t care? We fight to fit in your living rooms But what if I didn’t care?

Car Wreck 05:46
Dreaming of sleeping, of floating on the waves. I'm crashing, they're laughing. Im pouring out through my veins. Don't expect the rain to fall on you when you're sad, 'cuz it doesn't work like that. No, it's better left unasked for. Don't assume the moon will crawl out of the hills so soon. Yeah, she's pretty when she moves, but it's still the afternoon. Oh Step out onto the stage. The microphone looks the other way, but whispers sweet in your ear the song that everyone wants to hear. Don't expect the rain to fall on you when you're sad, 'cuz it doesn't work like that. No, it's better left unasked for. Don't assume the moon will crawl out of the hills so soon. Yeah, she's pretty when she moves, but it's still the afternoon. At the end of the day, when you mean what you say. Take it easy, you'll be fine. 'Cuz after all we've got time. Don't expect the rain to fall on you when you're sad, 'cuz it doesn't work like that. No, it's better left unasked for. Don't assume the moon will crawl out of the hills so soon. Yeah, she's pretty when she moves, but she's not the one for you. Don't count on the wind to push you further down the road, 'cuz it's fickle and you know it. So why don't you just show it. Don't expect the sun to shine its love just on you, 'cuz the world needs sunshine too. Could we share the afternoon? Oh.

Like a portrait aged and peeling The fine dust obstructs my breathing On a treadmill gently spinning I only tire of always driving On and on… Simply put I’ve been misleading My heart into thinking That doubt can be conquered This perhaps, isn’t true On and on… Take this torch from me, I can’t run a minute longer I’ve swam a thousand seas, but I can’t be getting stronger It must be me As a child I can remember Spinning on a tire swing Thinking, “My world is just a big blur” How can I be sure? Take this torch from me, I can’t run a minute longer I’ve swam a thousand seas, but I can’t be getting stronger Please take this grief form me, I won’t weep a minute longer I’ve run a thousand miles. will I ever get stronger? Help my unbelief Our sunken hearts sing softly As we put him in the ground I used to see his face everyday Now his smile gently fades Take this torch from me, I cant run a minute longer I’ve swam a thousand miles, but I can’t be getting stronger. Lord, help my unbelief

Fly like a skipping stone Sing like a telephone We won’t cut a record or pilot a jet But I don’t think it’s our time is just yet Scream like a thunderstorm Yell like a car horn And each time it gets messy we’ll catch the debris And send it off to sea Sail away on a ship keep a death of a grip Count the days ‘til you make it ashore And I’ll be singing my tune flying in my balloon ‘Til the ocean and sky finally meet Glow like a firefly, rise like the morning tide. I don't care what they'll say or know what you've heard, but I know this is too good for words Blush like the dying leaves, age like a deep, deep sleep Where ever you wake up the Earth is spinning so just rest your head in the wind Sail away on a ship keep a death of a grip Count the days ‘til you make it ashore And I’ll be singing my tune flying in my balloon ‘Til the ocean and sky finally meet Work like a beating drum Wheeze like the mile run And despite all the hardship we’ll spit in our boots And say we’ve got nothing to loose Burn like a daydream, live like you're really free In the midst of the fire I will find a peace and I'll keep it 'til the day I leave. Sail away on a ship keep a death of a grip Count the days ‘til you make it ashore And I’ll be singing my tune flying in my balloon ‘Til the ocean and sky finally meet And I’ll be singing my tune flying in my balloon ‘Til the ocean and sky finally meet

I stopped by to say that I was so naive when I met you. But I've aged a year or two since the last time that I talked to you. There's a place that we can go. A place that no one else will know and we can fly high above the atmosphere until everything becomes more clear I just want to say that I am thankful for the times you tried to love me, but I didn't let you did I? There's this place I go, a place I tried not to show. But since I've flown high above the atmosphere, now everything is a little more clear. Come and lend a bitter ear, wont you dear, come and wipe away those tears. No this isn't something new, but I just called to say, "I love you". And "There's a place that we can go and watch the world around us slow and hear the angels sing in the atmosphere while we figure out what it means to be down here and everything becomes more clear."

seventeen: the beginning of everything good. Second guess the question and leave misunderstood We'll move on, but don't forget me when I'm gone. We'll move on, but love me truly when I'm gone. twenty-three, and it's snowing outside my window. I am squinting through oceans that froze from head to toe. We'll move on, but don't forget me when I'm gone. We'll move on, but love me truly when I'm gone. And isn't Love what we should be living for? The Love I know, it has no way of keeping score. We'll move on We'll move on The dawn will come The world turns on We'll move on, but don't forget me when I'm gone. We'll move on, but love me truly when I'm gone. We'll move on, but love me truly when I'm gone. We'll move on, but love me truly when I'm gone.

From Now On 05:53
In the Winter, we were waiting for the icicles to melt. By the Springtime, it was raining and the trees were turning green. In the Summer, we were dancing in the comfort of the shade. By the autumn, leaves where changing, but I hope you will stay the same. And we'll sing... Yeah, we'll sing... Yeah, we'll sing, "From now on everything will change. From now on we will lead the way. From now on everything will change, but you are safe with me." In the South, we met a stranger who fed us lies of things to come. On the West Coast, we found children playing in the streets with guns. In the North, our beds were frozen. We lay awake counting the stars. To the East, the Sun was rising and time stood still just for us. So we sang... Yeah, we sang... Yeah we sang, "From now on everything will change. From now on we will lead the way. From now on everything will change, but you are safe with me." From now on everything will change. From now on we will lead the way. From now on everything will change, but you are safe with me

Romeo 01:33
A cosmic collision or a babbling brook A salesman or shepherd, alive but mute A marriage of true lovers or of tasteful logic Your scheming floats heavy in the air A simpleton sharing his prized possession If Romeo loved Juliet… Then why did he lie to save himself? Or was he planning to dance in hell To the sound of grinding teeth And pretend the devil’s not around A farewell procession or a teary-eyed kiss A years worth of labor or blind credit The first snowy winter I’ve seen in years Like a total forgiveness that gathers here If scavengers discovered they had food allergies Would the world decompose growing sacred and free? Your still subtle voice time and time again Shakes my frame like a kite in the wind In this place, I am A simpleton sharing his prized possession If Romeo loved Juliet… Then why did he lie to save himself? Or was he planning to dance in hell To the sound of grinding teeth And pretend the devil’s not around

House on a lake, I sat down beside you But you weren’t awake, sleeping in silence The peace melts away in the afternoon heat And your nightmare carried you ready to fight I am thinking, That these woods are set for sinking Like an illness you feign The north wind brings forth rain The candles you light, won’t last the winter Your cursing your sight, reaching for sunlight The calendar year left you pacing on the porch Now a cold wind blows your front door back and forth We watched you wearied eyed I was the thorn in your hand We watched you wearied eyed I was the thorn in your hand I am thinking, That these woods are set for sinking
